For the next white trash tour. Skunky and Punzy had a blast and I think it could be a money making idea.

It started at Pier Park for the PCB Mardi Gras parade and a relaxing late lunch ogling our lederhosen clad waiter. Skunky wanted a beer wench, but we lucked out. After that and the parade we wandered over to Earth Bound and bought some trinkets. Dargvader has some gifts coming and I think I'll donate the hair extensions I purchased to princess Kate. We then traveled deeper into the redneck riviera traveling over the bridge to Hobby Lobby. Note to Hobby Lobby, don't label the button for the PA system, punzy was paged and then thanks to skunky's iPhone we were able to broadcast "my ding-a-ling". We made our purchases and hauled butt to the oldest operating gay bar in the South. Had some beers, relived some memories, and then continued on with a brief tour of the Cove. Stopped at the Buccaneer Lounge which is a true 50's relic. Complete with bar shaped like a boat. Had wings and some sort of melted cheese taco. Once we were done watching an 87 year-old woman clad in gold lame (sp?) and sequins line dance we headed for the beach. Punzy was unimpressed with the dancers on the bar at the Steelers bar, so we headed for home.

On a side note we were very unimpressed with Hobby Lobby's inventory. Not a single unicorn to be found in the store.

Did y'all get kicked out of Hobby Lobby?

Skunky told me about the servers' "shorts"at one of your stops.

No, we managed to leave Hobby Lobby without a request not to return. Apparently the staff was in quite a tizzy over what was happening with the PA system. It would have been more subtle if skunky had turned off said song playing through the iPhone while we were checking out.

this is classic and I love it and I'm in. Panama City is so much more fun than Destin.

so, do you recommend the Buccaneer Lounge? I thought you said the bar was shaped like a boat with wings and a melted cheese taco on it. but then I realized you were referring to the food?

The Buccaneer is great, we used to go all the time and 4th of July was a must since it sits right on the bay.

I manage a retail store in Pier Park and I have to say the more 'colorful' locals came out of the woodwork yesterday! lol If you truly want a spectacle SWGB, you should have taken Skunky and Rapunzel by Tootsie's last night. It seems to be a focus point for the cream of the crop and potential bar fights and other such shenanigans.
