I'm not attempting to spin.

Was the purpose of the stimulus to save jobs or to stimulate the economy? Somebody benefited from all that money- the businesses that provided the services rendered and their employees and anywhere these folks then spent that money. Or is that not what it was supposed to do?

P.S. I was and remain against the stimuli and the bailouts.
