Tea Party!

New posts
Some of those made me feel ill. You come across something like 106,000 for a new canine unit on some police force and you're like, ok, that's acceptable. But then you see 2 million being requested on "improved hiking trails" and you think, if the feds had money to burn ok, but is now really the time to be spending Yen on hiking trails?

For most of these idiots, it's as if the downturn and federal debt situation doesn't even exist. This is why we need a presidential line item veto and true conservative in the White House.

Here's a quick list of elected Representatives that don't have earmarks:

No, there are actually some listed who do not believe in earmarks. A minority to be sure, but they do exist and are called out for not doing so on the list.

Sorry for the misleading title - to atone we will have a tea/coffee party after the holidays are over!

The Boston Tea Party occurred on December 16, 1773.

It took 116 people 3 hours to throw the 45 TONS of tea into the harbor.

Please take 5 minutes to let your elected representatives know what YOU think of all of the thousands of earmarks and billions of dollars they added to the recent bill!

All of the earmarks are organized by state and the representative who requested them.

What's up with Jeff Miller's page? It won't open.

GOP replacement?

Rasmussen Reports:

Tea Party Tops GOP on Three-Way Generic Ballot

Monday, December 07, 2009

Running under the Tea Party brand may be better in congressional races than being a Republican.
In a three-way Generic Ballot test, the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds Democrats attracting 36% of the vote. The Tea Party candidate picks up 23%, and Republicans finish third at 18%. Another 22% are undecided.
Among voters not affiliated with either major party, the Tea Party comes out on top. Thirty-three percent (33%) prefer the Tea Party candidate, and 30% are undecided. Twenty-five percent (25%) would vote for a Democrat, and just 12% prefer the GOP.
Among Republican voters, 39% say they?d vote for the GOP candidate, but 33% favor the Tea Party option.

Not surprising, considering the dismal performance of both parties for the past 40-50 years.

I still would like to see "None of the above" on all ballots.

Thank you:wave:

This looks interesting:
