The Dallas Business Journal did a poll on the governor's race, and the Kinkster's winning this one by a mile too:

Kinky Friedman: 45%
Rick Perry: 26% (incumbent)
Carole Keeton Strayhorn: 19%
Chris Bell: 8%

go Kinky! love that an independent has a real lead in this great race. I liked Ann Richards quite a bit. You texans often elect people with personality (though not always).
