OMG! I always knew there were gators in that lake, and have seen some there, as well, but now I have been legally and officially notified that they are there. What should I do?!?!?

I had just seen the ones at Alligator Lake and the State Park boat launch.

Have there been incidents? Or did the sign companies just need some work?

I think everyone has standards for political correctness. For instance, if I were to post a photo of me burning a flag, a lot of people on the right would get all hot and bothered and probably even threaten me. They would site all the people who have died for the piece of cloth in battle. How would they like it if I told them to quit being such a bunch of overly sensitive low T p***ies? Not so much.
