good point... too much noise pollution!!! I bet it is rather loud in big cities. It's been pretty quiet around sowal so far... especially with banned fireworks due to drought... nice...

wish they'd ban fireworks up here. my big fear is my house getting set on fire by the punks setting off fireworks around. luckily most people on our cul-de-sac are out of town !

I have heard some fireworks over the last few days -- Fits right in with the bomb testing in Eglin AFB.

we don't hear a thing over on the "crik"... except an occasional tug boat or those frogs are rather loud sometimes!
