Okay, Kurt, you piqued my interest enough to look up the lebowski website but even still I couldn't figure out what it was all about. I suppose I am hopelessly old and square or I'd know?

This "fest" started here in Louisville, and their office is in my friend's neighborhood. One of the founders always has his big "art car" parked out front.

Lebowski Fest tix are harder to come by than Derby- immediate sellout every year. I have never been- though it always sounds like fun.

Well, jdarg, if it's that much fun we'll just have to do it! Louisville is less than two hours away for us!

I think I will have to camp out by the art car to get us some tickets. I'm not a big bowler though- are you? Much of the party seems to revolve around bowling.

Oh dear? Bowling? The only time I tried bowling I had a huge hissy fit (not good; it was a date). The *&((_&^ ball wouldn't go where I wanted it to and it was so hard to get any pins down. I have definite issues with bowling.

How about we do the St. James Court Art Festival instead?

No really! There is LOTS of bowling! Of course withy vodka. And LOTS of bad shirts running around. Mermaid, we'll need to get us some really ugly bowling/luau shirts if we go....
