The Kids are All Right

I was amazed by this movie. Knowing it had a lesbian couple as the lead characters, I did not quite know what to expect. I am blown away by both Annette Bening and Julianne Moore. They made me completely forget who they are as actresses and just get caught up in the funny, dramatic crazy part of their lives. The young actors who play the teenagers were terrific in their parts as well. Don't be put off by a few sex scenes- these were not over done and the overall movie is well worth seeing.

I also thought this movie was very good. The acting was great. Lots of things to think about and I would have loved for my teenage kids to see it, but I was glad that they weren't sitting next to me during some of the scenes. Maybe I'll let them go see it with their friends!
