Fuzz and I have been encouraging family members and people we know well to vote. One person actually told us that he does not plan to vote in the primary as "there are too many people to pick from." He will wait until the General Election, where there are "only two in each race."

Fuzz pointed out to this family member that a majority of the county races are going to be decided in the primary, and the reaction was the same as if you had told this person the world is flat.

I am wondering how many other people have their heads in the sand (or possibly another place) and actually think this.

I overheard a older couple discussing their picks (while I was trying to vote)- she said "I don't know who any of these people are- can I just not vote in most of these races?"

Why bother going to the polls? This couple was so old that it had to have taken a bit of effort to get there!
