The Mers have arrived....

and found jfunn, Bettis and Miss Kitty sitting in a boat in the parking lot at WC! They drank their beers in the boat and then took off in their vehicle with boats on top and bikes on the back! What a sight! :clap_1:

They should have arrived in SoWal with a coaster that will complete their coaster set. The 4th rode home with us somehow when we stayed at Mermaid Cove in September. I gave it (back) to Mermaid for her birthday!

You got that right. Didn't Mermaid score a couple of runs? I think Merman also sent some runners home, and both certainly looked like they had funn.

I must tell this one quicky. Mermaid was on second base when the ball was kicked into the outfield. We yelled, "run," and Mermaid ran to third and stopped and chatted to the third base umpire. (Seriously.) The ball was thrown at one of the other runners, which missed the player and the ball went astray. We were stilling yelling, "run," to Mermaid as she stood there talking. Finally, she turned around and got the message, before running in for the score. It was so funny to watch that.
