The NYC Subways are HOT!

K-Funn....I saw on the news that the subway was on fire in the WVillage. I called my friend...she says there were 8 firetrucks outside her apt. I described the awning shown in the news shot and she said it was just a block down from her!!!! How are you?

I just got this email from a friend...

I know there has been a subway fire reported at W 4th st. and 6th ave. that
tied up a ton of subway lines, but people trickling into our office say
there seems to be a halt on all subway lines now. I'm just wondering if
anybody has any more info on what may be going on. I hear the helicopters
all over down here. Anybody know anything else?

I live right there by the West 4th subway stop. When I was getting on this morning the train ran fine... I was just trying to see what was going on. I did see a helicopter floating right above, but I didn't hear any fire trucks or anything. Let me see what I hear and I'll let you know.

But your little Kimmi is just fine. "Working" away at her little desk. Legs crossed in case someone jumps out and scares me!

I guess laughter cures all!!! Be safe out there! I might go get some Serenity Pads today....I am so tired of crossing my legs and doing the squat!!!

Now our NY friends are battling the Perfect Storm! Y'all stay safe and dry up there...ya' hear?

Dear Wilma and No'reaster,

Thanks to you my feet are soaking wet. Oh, and umbrella kept flipping inside out. But hey, what do you do. Good thing the subways were flooded and delayed.

And can I thank you for the frizzie hair, wet legs and soaking wet purse.

Lots of love,
xoxo
Kim

I hate this weather.

Sorry you had such a bad commute. But hey, at least it's not snow!
 I have such a bad attitude when it comes to the weather!

Snow is coming soon! Brrr!

My commute isn't so bad going door to subway and subway to work. Actually it couldn't be better! :clap_1:

I have always wanted to be in NY for Christmas. I spend the holidays staring at the Rockefeller Center webcam at www.wnbc.com. It will put you in a good mood no matter how big of a Grinch you are. Try it. I'll post the link again after they get the tree up.

I love NYC around the Holidays! I would recommend to go see "Wicked" on broadway. www.wickedthemusical.com
THe first year that Wicked came to broadway, Macy's had thier windows dressed up with a spin version of the Show. I really loved it!
