Another busy weekend. I spent Friday night and Saturday babysitting for 3 of the grandkids. Saturday, my wife was out wedding dress shopping with the future d-i-l for most of the day so was home with the kids, they were a handful but we had fun. Sunday we spent the whole day working on the camper. I gutted the insides and rebuilt the dinnette, couch and built a long counter and then put in a new floor. Now I have to put the panelling up and Patty is going to recover the cushings and then we should be done. It was a free popup from a family member so we are having fun rebuilding it.

My grandparents used to take us to the lake when we were kids, they had a pop up camper!! I thought it was the greatest thing!!
Kish, you should have answered those questions in three posts not just one. ;-)

We used to go camping all of the time when the kids were young. We used to tent camp almost every other weekend in the summer. Once the got older and got more involved in activities we didn't have time. Once they were in high school we started going on family vacations to the beach and ended up in SoWal. All of our children and grandchildren love the beaches there.

So, am I talking to myself or what???? The weather here has been great this week. It looks like I will get to open the pool this weekend. I need to get it going and hook up the solar heater to warm it up for the kids. Once it hits 70 I am in but the wife and the kids need it to be at least high 70's. It looks like a grayt Holiday weekend weatherwise so I hope all you locals enjoy the sun and beach.
