I know how you feel about the Rockefeller tree LL. I love going to Lenox Square here in ATL and seeing the Rich's Great Tree. However, this year will be the first year that it will be known as the Macy's Great Tree, since Federated Inc. changed all Rich's stores to Macy's stores.
There ya go Bsmart...

We just toured Santaland here in the store. OH my gosh. It's amazing. I mean talk about wanting to be a little kid again. A co-worker said she cries when she sees Santa...and I totally teared up. If any of you are in the city...bring your kids to Santaland!

And we are installing windows tonight!!!!

You mean it's Christmas time already  My, how the year has flown by....I thought we just had Spring Break?! Duh.....

Our huge mall in the suburbs has had ALL their holiday decorations up BEFORE Halloween! Seriously! It was so bizarre shopping for Halloween stuff and seeing all the Christmas decorations all over the mall!!
(Lindabobhat & Beachlover 2, you know which mall I'm talking about.)

I hardly ever go to that mall - I am not a mall person - I do enjoy spending time at the Ram right near there. Yummy Beer!!!

For those who love "the illuminations," as my little grandmother used to call holiday lights, the lakeyard park around perfectly round Lake DeFuniak will be outfitted with over 3 million lights, most of which reflect in the Lake. The anttebellum homes around the lake are also beautifully decorated. Well worth a short trip "to town" for those of you living at or visiting South Walton beaches. ....

Donna,

Are the lights on as early as Thanksgiving? We'll be there and would love to go take a look!

Where did the tree come from this year? Has anyone ever skated in that plaza? We were in NYC one Xmas years ago and I remember wishing our kids were older so we could have joined in the fun. Xmas in NYC is like being in fairyland with all the lights and decorations.

I want to go so bad. The tree came out of someone's yard in New Jersey.
