No, I enlisted in the USAF but there is a very long story as to why which I shall not go into now. I had already been in the Navy for a period of time prior to my enlistment in the AF.

What exactly was done to brainwash your generation into thinking that if one achieves a high rank in the armed forces or in the church that he or she is exempt from logic and reason, laws and accountability for acting like a damn fool?

IMO respect is something that is earned. Members of the military have all earned my respect for the sacrifices they have made on behalf of our country, but it does not give them a lifelong pass for idiocy or crime.

Rangel was a war hero who unfortunately is now a civilian crook.

This Lt. Colonel served his country, but is an idiot.

Both of them diminished their former actions with their latter ones.

This is the last I say on this matter. You win if that makes you happy but my opinion is mine and yours is yours. So be it.

My little boy is home sick today. I crave Chicago Hot Dogs and Dr. Pepper. The last year went by faster than any other in my life. I love my dog. I wear flip flops most of the time. I need to get back to working out and eating clean. I think several of the animated movies in 3D (Avatar, Megamind and Tangled- to name a few) are absolute masterpieces. Mine is an opinion, not a win or not win situation - you tend to put things into that context and I doubt that you even realize you do it. That is why you find yourself saying "this is the last I say on the matter."
Do you realize how often you sorta stomp out, taking your toys and go home? Think about it ... that's what it looks like to me - not sure about others.
