No joke...When I was leaving NY, I had something private in my carry on that was of an issue. Needless to say, the item was of suspision to the guard.

Then when I flew from Bham, every single security person touched it. Just thought it would be easier to carry on as opposed to checking it. Maybe the risk of losing it scared me.

I have since replaced the item.
