I have not made any attempt to follow this Michael Brown story at all. in fact, I think I would make a good juror if this comes to trial. One thing that strikes me though is that every time I've heard the President speak on this, he has been very even handed. Maybe I've missed something, but I have not detected a hint of bias in what I've heard. It is certainly appropriate for him to speak about this, and under some circumstances, the federal government has the right, if not the obligation, to get involved. Other than that, I have no opinion on whether or not the shooting was justified.

The President, time after time, has been even handed on virtually every issue he speaks on, whether it's about race relations, violence, or gun control. He continues to be sensible and thoughtful. What's up with that?

My assessment of this situation is two men made major mistakes. It seems like everybody else should be waiting and working for justice to be served, and not creating chaos that serves no purpose whatsoever but to harm thousands of innocent people and the community in general.

The reason Rightwingers get upset with the president is because they believe what they hear on Fox. The August 15 edition of Fox and friends ran a video clip of the President edited to say this-

I know that many Americans have been deeply disturbed by the images we've seen in the heartland of our country, as police have clashed with people protesting.
There's also no excuse for police to use excessive force against peaceful protests, or to throw protestors in jail for lawfully exercising their First Amendment rights.

They then went to a discussion on how Obama was choosing sides, but when you read his complete statement notice what they leave out. The underlined portions are what they aired. This is SOP for these asshats.

Now, second, I want to address something that's been in the news over the last couple of days and that's the situation in Ferguson, Missouri. I know that many Americans have been deeply disturbed by the images we've seen in the heartland of our country, as police have clashed with people protesting. Today, I'd like us all to take a step back and think about how we're going to be moving forward.
[...]
There is never an excuse for violence against police, or for those who would use this tragedy as a cover for vandalism or looting. There's also no excuse for police to use excessive force against peaceful protests, or to throw protestors in jail for lawfully exercising their First Amendment rights. And here, in the United States of America, police should not be bullying or arresting journalists who are just trying to do their jobs and report to the American people on what they see on the ground. Put simply, we all need to hold ourselves to a high standard, particularly those of us in positions of authority.
I know that emotions are raw right now in Ferguson and there are certainly passionate differences about what has happened. There are going to be different accounts of how this tragedy occurred. There are going to be differences in terms of what needs to happen going forward. That's part of our democracy. But let's remember that we're all part of one American family. We are united in common values, and that includes belief in equality under the law; a basic respect for public order and the right to peaceful public protest; a reverence for the dignity of every single man, woman and child among us; and the need for accountability when it comes to our government.
So now is the time for healing. Now is the time for peace and calm on the streets of Ferguson.

Seaducer=30ashopper?
nope, not even sure what that means.
But I'm sure it helps the flak storm they are throwing up to cover their
bull**** and that's all that matters when fellow ideologue liars get
caught hoisted upon their own petards

this one is my very favorite.........
My post on Reagan is as true as the RW claims that Obama is a Muslim born in Kenya

especially since he/she follows it with 30 minutes of typing, all of which just says
they got caught lying as usual and are too dumb to stop typing, if she/he could
find me ever claiming that they could call me as big a liar as they themselves are proved.

as for leg #2 of the stool let me clarify....

Did I say it went over the air? "Lying?" Man, I'm really hurt now... I made my original statement which is true, and everything that has transpired since then, is your idiocy. The proof, which I did read, doesn't contradict a thing I said. We can we just continue to parse this "ad nauseum"?

No, we have no reason to continue anything unless you feel like stringing out your
lie while waiting on the other two dimwitted stool legs to rush to cover for you.

Just admit you lied when you claimed in a radio interview Reagan said that.

here are the lies you told...

Do you remember when Reagan said in a radio interview

everything that has transpired since then, is your idiocy.

Damn, you got me man! I meant to type "microphone check for a radio interview" instead of "radio interview". And all this time, I thought the point was the Gupper did say those words, and it was kind of stupid that the president of the United States would joke about nuclear war. I'm sorry, I guess the words "microphone check" are important to some people.

Damn, this is serious! A lot of people could misconstrue the meaning of "microphone check". I don't imagine anybody could misconstrue "we start bombing the Soviet Union in five minutes", could they?

No, I never used the words 'microphone check', you did. those words are important to you to protect the lie.

you see radio means something specific, you don't understand obviously, but he never said it on the radio.

Nor did he ever say it in an interview, that also means something specific, he wasn't being interviewed.

its okay you are a liar, but at least like Poppy stop telling the same lie, Poppy at least tried to turn and burn
this into a discussion of Obama's heritage and Fox News, you should try buzzwords like that....
maybe the Koch Brothers or Rush Limbaugh, otherwise you're just begging me to continue
showing you as a liar rather than a tail between the legs running for cover coward like he/she.

PS: he also never said Nuclear. You also made that up, but that is just trivial to your first big lie.

Can we all just agree that Reagan was an effing idiot and had sh&1 for brains without anyone being accused of lying?
