In honor of Darlene's upcoming, much anticipated, well deserved vacation next week, I thought I'd give her a headstart on her travel journal.
Darlene,
This time next week you will be in SoWal! You would have gotten up before the sun. Packed your "Pink Cadillac", and left your "Sweet Home Alabama" and hit the "Freeway of Love". The anticipation builds with each mile. You are like a "FreeBird" with "Two Tickets to Paradise". At the beginning there was some "Dread" about the drive, but you "Clampitt" because you know pretty soon you'll be "Sittin'on the Dock of the Bay" at the 331 watching the first of a weeks worth of beautiful sunsets, and those beautiful "Tequila Sunrise" mornings.
Finally the Villas are in sight. The Villas are so beautiful, they put the "Hotel California" to shame! You park the car, unpack your gear, greet your friends, and wander to the hammock to enjoy a cold one and wait for Jessifunn. You glance at your watch and realize, it's only "Twenty five or Six to Four". Maybe it's too early for a beer? Then you realize, you're on "Vacation", and besides, "It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere." You pop the top, hop in the hammock, and relax.
Pretty soon Jfunn arrives and wakes you from your "SweetDreams". "Sorry I'm late," she says. "I stepped on a pop top and blew out my flip flop!" "But I'm here now so let's "Get this Party Started"!..................Feel free to continue Darlene's travel log!
