as much as i can understand where kurt is coming from, i cant understand why its ok to be called a racist because i disagree with someone. or have ones religion (not mine) smeared because one disagrees with someone. to me, that violates more than a post. im just saying...

I should have also pointed out in my post above that if there is a problem with a particular post, use the "report post" feature

at the top right of every post. This helps the moderators.

Don't use it and give a reason as "rude post" - rather, tell the poster they are rude. This forum is thus mostly self-moderated. Use the "report post" feature for posts which cross the line. I think most of us know where the line is. Don't cross it.

I posted this in a new thread, and after it was erased I posted it under the Pelosi HC thread only for it to be erased. This information is disturbing at best and I can't understand why it shouldn't be available in the politics section. The nation only went through an enormous uproar over the Joe Wilson "you lie" comment. What's the deal SoWal Admin?

You post long articles, many of which I've already read elsewhere, and rarely summarize your own thoughts on the matter. Because you fail to state your point, most of your posts are pointless.

We do not want politics and religion, etc. in the lounge, but it is a place where jokes are made about politics.

Personally, I'd be happy if the only politics being discussed on here were local politics. I can get my fill of national crap from national sources. That's right -- I'm in favor of eliminating discussion of national politics on SoWal.com.

National politics are the big issues and I like to know what people locally think about them. Different strokes for different folks.

You are talking out your back side. You stand opposite of me on practically every topic imaginable and we've debated many subjects.
