time on the board

My dogs usually lay around at my feet while I'm on the computer, hoping for a tummy rub I quess. They just like to be where the people are!

My cat jumps up on the desk and rubs and rolls and purrs and tries to sit on the keyboard. Or nudges the mouse out of my hand. Then she will finally settle down and just lay on the desk next to me when she realizes I'm not getting up anytime soon!

Rowdy lays in my lap while I post and Woody brings the ball to me and I have to throw it to him the whole time. He could play fetch for 8 hours straight if I would. IWIWT...don't you have bichons also? Are they obsessed with playing fetch?

They like to fetch, but would rather chase each other. THey are hysterical because Maggie stands still while Sophie runs figure eights around her. THen they stop and and look at each other and start over. I doubt I explained it well, but it is great to watch. They love running in the yard or at the beach because there is no furniture to block them. Much enjoyment.

When I am on my laptop, one of my dogs smashes his head all over the keyboard or tries to close the puter. He loves attention. That is when it is breaktime.

I know exactly what you mean. My dogs love to chase each other too. Especially after a bath or a walk in the rain. They go nuts. It is so funny to watch.

Many of you have commented that your families feel slighted when you spend time on the board, but what about your pets???? Everytime I am on the board, my youngest dog, Sophie, tosses her feeding bowl around... Just like a child! :funn: Then she will stare at me to see if I will come...of course I never do! BTW she is not hungry...she gets feed twice a day and lots of treats.

Oh yeh, I get the stare, if it's nighttime. Marley will get off the couch and come into the computer room and put her face as close to mine as she can and stare. She hates to go to bed by herself. She keeps doing this until I give in and when I say "Ok, let's go to bed" then she goes nuts! She grabs her baby (stuffed horse or monkey) and takes off to the bedroom. It's really funny, if only they could talk! :clap_1: During the day she brings me toys to throw and play with. I love my dog, she's so precious.

It is nice to know these pets LOVE attention too. Good stories.
