Sorry. The snarkyness of another thread has warped my reasonability. The posts on the political thread have gotten so bad since the election, including some of mine, that I cannot discern humor from sarcasm without emoticons. Please accept my apologies. Also, I think the closing of threads rather than banning those posting is a much better policy but I realize that opinion may not meet with some's approval.

I think closing threads is good, but still like banning if it is the same posters causing it again and again. It makes more work for the moderators and frustrates people - see no reason why adults can't just behave themselves and follow rules.

I personally think we should all just enjoy each others company here in paradise and screw politics. Let's argue over who caught the largest bass and drank the most wine instead of being caught up in things that truly don't matter. :shrugs:

I like discussing politics and hearing others opinions and views - it's the rudeness, attacks, and canned responses I dislike.
We manage to discuss a wide variety of topics and learn a lot ............ until someone just has to poop in the nachos and ruin the party.

I'm sorry, but I occasionally like to poop in the nachos and ruin the party because it has been called for by a post or poster which is completely out of line. I'm sorry but it is my nature, and I note, the nature of many others on this site. A bunch of "A" type personalities seem to exist.

Noone needs to poop in the nachos - everyone likes their nachos poop free and we all should have indoor plumbing and bowel control. Adults can find ways to deal with bad behavior besides pooping in the nachos. Ignoring the person whose only goal is to make people poop in the nachos is a big start. So is not thinking refried beans and salsa are poop.
And whether you poop in the nachos because others already did or because you think they are making you do it, the end result is the same - a bowl of poop.
