I have never been all that attached to my cell phone - I can take it or leave it - just a tool for my convenience. the iphone is totally different - its so much more than a phone. loving all its many uses, including easy fast texting, emailing, browsing, great camera, an ipod, a kick a$$ calendar and contacts synced with my computer (finally!), and endless apps - many of which are very practical (yelp! restaurants and what you need while traveling... a map showing exactly where you are and how to get there, etc etc), and many of the apps are just the coolest ever such as Google Earth - the technology is amazing! you literally have the earth in your pocket - use your fingers to rotate the globe, zero in on a place, get info, follow a river, see anything on earth. lots of other universe/planet/constellation apps we're still exploring. and I'm still on just the freebies.

Tootsie - which calendar are you using? Is your phone in 3G?
my apps so far:
allrecipes
Distant Suns
Google Earth
RedLaser
Trapster
Slacker Radio
Shazam
Kindle
AroundMe
30A
Games:
Sudoku
Numbrix

thanks for the list of apps - I'll check 'em out. I use the iphone calendar which works great and syncs with google calendar. starting to use my notes, and sync with my google tasks.
other apps I'm loving: flashlight, days until (christmas countdown), weatherbug, sunset, Pandora radio, nasa, etc. many of these are for me and kiddo to explore together. urbanspoon looks promising..
my latest: turkey calls. get it.![]()
