Oh no, I hope you get your iPhone up and running again. Did you take the Apple warranty? I haven't yet, but am now thinking I should.

My apple warranty was still in effect. I finally took the time to get them on the phone with my iPhone in front of me, gave them all of the info of things I had tried to fix it. I had read that it is common problem for a wire to come loose in there and cause this. Since it had NEVER BEEN DROPPED , I was able to send it in and it was replaced within 4 days. I had to only drop it off at UPS store (I didn't have to do anything there but hand them the phone and a paper that Apple emailed me). Four days later FedEx was at my door with a new or refurbished phone, I don't know which.

Let me just say, NEVER TAKE YOUR PHONE OUT OF ITS SHOCK CASE. Get a good one and keep it in there.
