Knowing that mills = 1,000 makes the math easier to understand. The millage rate is simply the amount of dollars(tax) per $1,000 of assessed value.

Our buddy Charles retired a couple of months ago. Those who call 267-4500 will have a few helpful, friendly ladies to talk to. Please don't give them nervous breakdowns, though! :cool:

I did not know that. I bet he will enjoy retirement. The ladies in the office are most helpful and friendly.:D
