My friend was traveling with his weiner dog. He was flying from NYC to Dallas so he gave him a sedative. He didn't test it out on him first, but just gave it to him the day of the flight. Jonah totally passed out and Colin took him out of his carrier to check on him and make sure he was ok. He came out of his sedative and had a violent reaction to it. Had liquid poo and threw up all over Colin. This went on for about an hour. The people around him all had to move and Colin had crap and barf on him through his layover in Chicago. There was very little he could do...but Jonah ended up being ok and Colin always tests the sedatives on him before he gives them to him.
poor Colin!! :puke: how horrible that must have been...having to fly that way

Jdarg--DO NOT READ!

Mr. dd tells this story from his college days when he "was a steel worker." He says there was a guy on their crew who had a particularly weak stomach and they used to "give him the business" all the time--trying to gross him out. Well, one day, they were all in their little trailer eating lunch sometime close to Thanksgiving. The supervisor had pumpkin pie for dessert. He told the guys, "watch this" and spead the pumpkin pie on his boot. The guy came in and they just kept eating their lunch. Pretty soon, the supervisor looks down at his boot and says, "dang, what's that? Looks like s**t." Gets some on his finger and smells, "smells like s**t", licks his finger--"It IS S**T!" The guy ran outside and barfed for a long period of time. Of course, they laughed and laughed and never let him forget it.

hey, I don't make 'em up, I just pass 'em along..........

I vote on this one. great story. :clap_1:

Thanks, Toots! I've always loved this story too! He has a million--some of which I could never tell here! I didn't know him in college, but Mr. dd must have had a great time is all I can say.

DestinDreaming: okay, we want the stories. spill.... no one is easily offended here in the lounge... pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze...

Alright- y'all get the Dog Poop in the Pocket story.

Fortunately, this has only happened to me once (but others are not so lucky). Working at the vet clinic, we have to sometimes carry dogs around. Dogs get excited and anxious at the doctor, and sometimes they can't hold it. SOmetimes they POOP while we are carrying them.

Sometimes we don't know they have pooped until we......reach for a pen (or chapstick:eek: ) in the front pocket of our scrub shirts. Nothing like reaching in your pocket and grabbing a warm turd- but you don't know what it is until you bring it out and examine it. The insult to injury is if you have switched the dog from one arm to the other- and find a "present" in your OTHER pocket later on- called DOUBLE poop pocket. Hopefully this does NOT happen in front of a client!

We had some friends in Kansas City who had a dachsund that loved to steal food from the kitchen counter. He would literally climb up a wooden barstool, hop onto the kitchen island and nosh away at whatever was left there. My girlfriend had some crescent rolls all ready for the oven, left on the island. The dog ate every single one. The yeast started acting in his warm little belly and the poor dog was in terrible pain. The vet told them what to do about the tummy discomfort, but the doggy poots were so horrendous that they had to take him to the vet and leave him for about three days. They were waking in the night to green, noxious clouds in their bedroom. Grendle was okay, but never had an appetite for any kind of bread after that. :(

OK..OK...I finally have one...and it is about a dog too...my little Mutt CiCi...when she was 6 months old we moved from Atlanta to Columbia...Me & my kids moved out of our house and into a friends pool house for about 2 months while the kids were still in school...I had to keep CiCi in a pen all day long..so to keep her happy I gave her doggie treats...well they were way too much for her undeveloped system...so I came home one day & she had "spewed" poop out of the cage..poor baby trying to keep it away from herself..she was so mortified...I could tell...but I had to clean her in the shower...wash her in the kitchen sink as well...then wash her cage out in the yard by the pool....and clean all the wood floor where her cage was...well whew...i finally finished cleaning...yuck....but do you think I relaized what had made her sick??? :bang: heck NO!!!! I gave her some more treats the next day...raw hide bones...and had the same thing to have to go through ALL OVER AGAIN!!! :banging: worse than cleaning my kids poop!!!!
