Tornado Warning; Report near De Funiak Springs?

My sister and a friend were just in Seagrove. She said that things were blowing all around. Then the wind shifted, and then the rain stopped suddenly. She said her ears popped and then she was in rain along with wind again. Any idea on what that was????

I've had that experience before. :shock:

Next time you see her, hug her real tight and tell her you love her and you are glad she is safe.

We just floated home from Seacrest with a short stop in Seagrove. It's coming down so fast and furious, GTTBD couldn't tell if we were on the road or not! Our front walkway is under water. I'm not sure but I think I just spotted a flock of flying monkies!

It's not a happy weather day!

Oh yeah, I hate basements but I love them in a storm.

It was probably the cold front passing through, but then again it could have been that storm they were talking about with the rotation and possible tornado? I see the that the tornado watch is being dropped for the counties to the north and east, that is a good sign.

If there's any damage in SoWal, will one of you report back to us? I've been cooking for hours for a tailgate party we're throwing tomorrow, but obviously our home is more important. So if we need to drive down to check on it, we will.

No worries JDarg, I have been in that house through hurricane's Ivan and Dennis with trees swaying above!! The guest bathroom is a good spot too! I know the old owners

You're fine. Just lot's and lot's of rain, and lots of wild surf. No power or cable outages. Bay and Gulf county are under the gun right now.
