Trading the market...

Well, I guess you would have to practice self control, I look at it like a job. I have been learning trends and using graphs to help me plot trends. And yes you can do currencies, commodities, etc. I like doing the currencies while learning. I use the 5 min. real time charts and look for upward trends, downward trends, or neutral trends, for the particular one I am trending. I don't usually mess with the neutrals there hard to trend. but I watch upward or downward movement, paired with another real time graph I zoom in to see even more subtle movement, then make my decision. I know there is no way to win every one, but if I keep my winning percentage to 70% I'll take it. Its all risk, just this way you know in advance EXACTLY what you will win or lose. I received an email from a man telling me about these people. I think you can learn trends a little and using the graphs and you'd definitely have an advantage over SLOTTERS...

lloyd i see were your coming from. the shorter the time frame the tougher the trade. theres tons of news everyday that can move the mkt one way or the other short term. i don't know how long you're been in mkt but short term trading is the toughest due to short term mass manipulation by high frequency computers. being on the right side is very tough. from what i can tell you bet on the options of the stks. wether it will be up or down. the good part about these options is the loses can be very small. if i were you i'd build your account up and switch to weekly options as that gives you more time to be right
