What's it about professor?
School voucher programs specifically help low income, usually minority, kids attend better schools.

And there's no required curriculum. Christian, or otherwise.

That's the whole point. It gives parents the ability to choose. And allows the free market to work.
If, for example, schools with faith based curriculum don't compete well in the market against secular schools. So be it.
I gaurentee if public schools did have a faith based curriculum, there would be cries for vouchers to allow parents to opt out.

And science and evolution education is not exclusive to faith.

Further, it disgusts me that politics, and pressure from teachers unions, is put ahead of education choice. Voucher programs work. It's been tried with outstanding results. Especially for low income black kids. Washington DC had an excellent program in place. As did other cities. President Obama shut it down early in his presidency under pressure of the teacher union. Good job POTUS putting politics ahead of the kids.

Finally, why should a tax payer be forced to see their kids educated in a particular "cookie cutter" way?
Maybe your kid excels, or has interest in math and science, he/she should be allowed to attend a school that has those opertunities. Same with the arts. Literature. Civics. Physical education. Etc.

I hope you enjoyed today's lesson. I hope you took notes. There will be a test. :D

But why are conservatives so crazy for it?

But why are conservatives so crazy for it?
I don't think it should be a partisan thing. It just makes sense.
Conservatives support it I suppose, because it's a free market issue. Sadly, democrats don't support it becsuse as I noted, teacher unions.
The media has successfully painted democrats at THE party of compassion and minority rights. When it couldn't be less true. Especially on this issue.
