SoWal Insider
Just an FYI - this group is a "non-profit" that claims to send gift bags to military personnel overseas. They like to collect contributions in areas of the county with large military populations, hence Walton County is a prime target. They call over the phone, offer to send you a contribution mailer (but will happily take a visa number over the phone to save you the cost of a stamp), then after sending the mailer will continue to call you nagging about the "invoice" you were sent.
Their web site claims they are associated with the "Veterans Support Foundation" which may be questionable as well. Based on some Google searches (48 total references to the name of the organization) it seems they are really just a scam agency that keeps a majority of the money and sends very little to the troops. Since there are numerous well-known and accredited charities that help veterans, I'd suggest SoWal'rs stay away from this group if they call.
