I just want to congratulate the US men's hockey team on their second place finish in the gold medal game at the olympics and an honorable mention to the Canadian team who came in next to last  in the final game.
Regardless of the outcome, both teams did themselves proud. It was a great game to watch! And the final goal was scored by a Canadian who plays for the Penguins and who happens to be my favorite player in NHL. There were no losers in this game.
The American team did both us and themselves proud! They were not expected to even contend for the medal round so the fact that they made the gold medal game is almost as good as it could have been. Games don't get much better than that!
