jdarg - your menu sounds wonderful! :clap_1: We're hosting our monthly Supper Club at our house and we're going with the Valentine's Theme. I have some heart shaped pans from Crate and Barrel, but I can't think of what to actually make in them?!?!?

Any thoughts or ideas any of you creative people have would be greatly appriciated!! happy heart day ya'll!

Anybody cooking a Valentine's DInner this weekend? Share it up- it has to be more organized than mine!!

I just got back from Whole Foods- told the kids we would have a family Valentine's dinner with candles, and Kate and I are going to dress up- and she wants us to wear dresses and heels. She says Will and Daddy don't like to wear dresses , so they can wear jeans.

I got a little overwhelmed choosing what to have- Whole Foods does this to me. Our menu is interesting- a few tastes of several things--I couldn't settle on anything!

Crab Cakes
Lamb/mint/rosemary sausages, and chicken/apples sausages, grilled
peel & eat Chesapeake spiced BBQ shrimp
grilled soy/garlic steak pinwheels
roasted fingerling potatoes and asparagus
ciaobatta bread and 2 huge roasted heads of garlic
Valentine shaped cheesecakes and tiramasu
We haven't eaten like this in weeks, so if I don't post anything after 8:30, call 911!
 YUMM girl...sounds like a great Valentine's day feast!!!
(just a side note..if you have any apple/chicken sausage left...put them cooked on some rolls (or the ciaobatta bread) with brie & red currant jelly....great sammich'!! :clap_1: )

OK- gonna cook and hide those sausages for a snack later!

And if anyone makes a dirty comment about what I just said....I'll....I'll...oh poot!

Great dinner ideas....mine aren't quite as grand.

saddle salad, family favorite
Filets
sauteed mushrooms, broccili
bananas foster

Need to borrow your idea of the bread with roasted garlic....mmmmmmm

Simple but satisfying.

Do you want the number for a cardiologist? The Doc may not approve of this menu so be sure not to show it to him or her. What time should I arrive?:idontno::D

It is BYOC- Bring Your Own Cardiologist. Or coffin.

Bdarg has lost about 15 pounds. If he gains it all back tonight, I guess it is my fault for caving in at every turn at Whole Foods.

jdarg...what a wonderful and funn idea! I love Kate getting all dressed up!!! The menu sounds so grand! Have a hearty meal!!!
