Hey Alifunn -- We had a great view of Washaway House this week and really wished you folks were still there because Washaway was "lifeless". I found myself sitting on the porch imagining all the activity that was taking place there last week and how that old house must of loved it!

Rita...I hope so much that I get to meet you one day...sorry the Washaway was so lifeless...it sure was not that way when we were there!!

Any one thinking of renting the Washaway....talk to me...a wonderful old home with tons of character!

You will  Rita! She's one cool chick. ;-)

Several of us talked about how great it would have been to have rented Washaway for the 4th - a great spot to hang out on the porch and enjoy the fireworks, safely away from the the war zone on the beach. But, someone said that it was occupied that week (they saw people there, lights on, etc.). Oh well... maybe next year?
