Vision Airlines to start local flights to Niagara Falls and Miami next month (PHOTOS, DOCUMENT) | month, eglin, niagara - News - Northwest Florida Daily News

With one of its Boeing 737s in the background, Vision Airlines announced Wednesday that it will begin offering low-fare, non-stop service next month to two destinations from Northwest Florida Regional Airport.

ision will begin offering flights Fridays and Sundays beginning Dec. 17 to Niagara Falls International Airport and Miami International Airport. One-way fares will start at $79 to Niagara Falls and $69 to Miami. Flights will leave Northwest Florida Regional at 8:29 a.m. for Niagara Falls and 2:36 p.m. for Miami.

I had to laugh when I saw this story on the news- they were talking about how the Niagara Falls flight will bring more snowbirds to the area.

I thought snowbirds drove here in their cars- because they are here for the winter, not just a weekend. I have yet to talk to a snowbird that actually flew here!:lol:
 
Very exciting for me, Niagara Falls is not far from my parents. This will be the cheapest way for me to fly home for a quick visit!!:clap:

I was up there in September; yes they have a very big casino/hotel near the falls...and a few over in Canada.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who has Niagara Falls on their Bucket List.

I figured since Vision started as casino charters.

Would Niagara Falls be a good place to start and end a car tour of New England?
 
I grew up just two hours south of the Falls! Perhaps a trip to explore the old stomping grounds is in order...
