Walton Area Chamber of Commerce Power of Business Lunch

[Jdarg]

I attended my first Walton Area Chamber lunch today (as an employee of the Beach Breeze/DeFuniak Herald newspapers)- and walked away feeling so positive about 2010!

There were at least 150 local business people eating lunch, socializing, networking- I met people from all types of business and saw quite a few friends too. Meredith Spence's Youth Leadership class from SWHS was also in attendance, as this program is sponsored by the Chamber's Youth Leadership/Education Council.

If you are a Chamber member, it is such an energy kick to be in the same room with so many people committed and excited about doing business in our community! I am starting to look through the information on our Chamber- and am excited to see how much they do for our local businesses and schools.
