wanted: taxpayer minded sheriff

[happydays32]

the florida presidential primary is done and gone. its now time to elect a taxpayer minded sheriff in the september local primary. a real republican who does not waste millions on a needless radio system and has a sense of fiscal responsibility when the county budget is not flush in funds. applicants accepted. equal opportunity employer.

[Abby Prentiss]

Who is running?

[Zebraspots]

Aside from the radio issue (which I don't really understand) I thought the Sheriff was doing a pretty good job of cleaning house and being responisble.

I think you are absolutely correct. The communication system may not be to some's liking but if it allows communication between all disaster control enities, it does its job. Mike Atkinson will receive my vote once again. He is a professional law enforcement office and that is what we need in the office.

the salary range is between 175 to 200 thousand dollars of base salary along with benefits including full time vehicle. applicants should have a distinguished law enforcement career and military service is helpful. applicants need to apply in person before walton county voters and a decision will be made at the polls in the september florida primary. good luck.

[Bob Wells]

He didn't recieve my vote last time, but unless a better candidate runs he will recieve my vote this time.

[Andy A]

I guess I should clarify, Bob. I didn't vote for him last time, either but I sure will this time.
