My website expired because I had a A$$ doing it. It was Makeup4Brides.com Now I went to re in state it, Uh they want $2,675 for the name! So I bought www.Makeup4Brides.NET for $9.00. It should be up in a few days or so.
I didn't know this could happen! Did you ever here of such a thing? :idontno:

Yep, that does happen if you are not in control of your own stuff. I have heard of major corporations screwing that up too, but that was 10+ years ago. That is probably number one rule now for IT peeps.

That's exactly right! That's why major corporations like Amer. Airlines, etc., bo't every combination of their name &/or abbreviation, years ago when the Web was just starting, so you can always find them and log on.

And Dabell, you'll be fine. You'll be found in a search. Just don't lose this one.

DaBell, Yes there are folks that just watch for domains that they think would be worth something to come available, and then snatch them up. It looks like you lost it in September 2004. The .net address should be just fine, but you may want to consider using "yourname.com" also. I looked at your site as it was in June 04 (through archive.org) and saw that you didn't use the name makeup4brides to market yourself, just your name. Makeup4brides was only mentioned in the page title, but nowhere in the body of the site. I also did a quick search and saw that your site is listed on a lot of sites, with both your name and url. Your name is out there although the url is no longer working. You'll need to work at updating those links, by contacting the sites you're listed on.
Anyway, I could go on, but don't want to take up too much space here.

Isn't that amazing how they can do that? They make a ton of money doing this. If you were a large company, you'd be forced to pay up or you'd wind up tossing out thousands in letterhead, business cards, etc...

The page is up now www.Makeup4Brides.NET everything else will come soon like before and afters photos, who and what, I have done.Thing Like that. But That God I'm back!
so by now you all know my real name. No biggie.. You never know you may one day see me in a TV show and say... Hey I know her!
Thank you all you been really there for me and I appercaite it!
