Water clear?

New posts
We are planning a visit to Watercolor soon and were wondering how the water looks, are there jellyfish?
The purple flags flew every day for 3 weeks, and we probably spotted jellyfish every day. Didn't ruin anything for us.
The thing is, too, the beach changes every day. Right after the news covered all the June grass, we had a day down in Seagrove where the water was clear and beautiful.

There are small clear Jelly's coming ashore and the ocassional Nettle Jelly, but it looks great in my opinion and I am there nearly every day.
More to worry about with people leaving all their junk on the beach overnight and not filling in the holes they dig than anything in the water.
There is a big migration of small minnows right in the surf that any little ones will have lots of fun with if they have a small net and a bucket to put water in.
:welcome:

Today (friday) the flags are yellow/purple. Our experience in Seagrove B was:

This morning the jellys and june grass were really bad--several in our group were stung, but this afternoon it was much clearer.
