Back on topic, is there anyone with an update on any erosion, (or the opposite) due to Rita? Katrina did Seacrest a favor. Wonder how it's looking now. Thanks for any info.
The level of sand on our part of the beach at Seagrove has risen about a foot. It looks good.

Sounds like nothing major, one way or another. thanks yall, nice to know all is well overall.

Katie Blue is probably dead on once again. The levels of sand probably is give or take depending on the location. I wonder if the new sea walls in Blue Mtn Beach are causing more sand erosion. :idontno:

Surfing the Amazons in Panama City Beach, FL. Not sure when this photo was taken, but I know there were some Quicksilver Pro Surfers with camera crews out there the last few days shooting video and photos. My guess is the waves were breaking much better than this for the last two days over in the Amazons.

amazons is the best place to surf with the park a close second<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008_ZNxdm824YYUS' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/18/18_1_29v.gif' alt='Surfer' border=0></a>
SJ you know everything. i never thought you would know anything about amazons.

How come jessifunn's smilie attempt looks like some weird computer program? Is it just my computer? I have soooo much to learn!

SJ...I would really love it if you had time in the next few weeks to do a nature tour! There would be drinks and food involved as a tip!!!! Your choice...my wallet!!! PLEASE!

I don't leave the house in Oct for all the known reasons. Plus, I don't know much about nature other than I enjoy it. However, there is a cool, organized nature event happening next month, involving hiking, kayaking, and some other cool stuff. I will try to find out the dates and times for you and post the info on it own thread.:D
