WCSO Seeks Information Regarding a Suspicious Incident

For Immediate Release
January 4, 2011

The Walton County Sheriff?s Office (WCSO) today received information at approximately 8:53 a.m. regarding a suspicious incident involving an individual who made verbal contact with a child. WCSO deputies were dispatched at 8:55 a.m. to the residence where the alleged incident occurred. The child is safe.

The person of interest is described as a bald 49 to 55-year-old white male who is approximately 145 to 165 pounds with a yellow beard and glasses. The person of interest may be accompanied by a second person in a small to mid-size truck with camouflage paint.
