We would like to volunteer, any ideas? Good causes?

[njackie]

New to the area in January and we would like to help in some way?

Welcome home!

The Seaside Repertory Theatre always needs volunteers for concessions and ushering at shows. Fun, easy, support the arts, and see the show for free! Go to www.seasiderep.org for info, and email Lisa Connell, the managing director, at info@seasiderep.org.

hi njackie!

TONS of opportunity to get involved and volunteer locally! As Jensky pointed out, we have many terrific groups so be sure to review our Groups/Organizations List - you will find descriptions and contact info.

Depending on your interests and goals, you will definitely find a place where you can make a difference. Some groups we hear from often and like to participate in events, etc:

Alaqua Animal Refuge - in need of dog walking volunteers!
Seaside Repertory Theatre - at shows and behind the scenes stage production!
Children's Volunteer Health Network
Shelter House
Rosemary Beach Foundation
Cultural Arts Association

and many more! See the LIST!

I can think of nothing you'll find more satisfying and enjoyable than walking dogs or working with cats (or horses, or emus, or...) at Alaqua Animal Refuge. Just a short drive north from 30-A and a beautiful setting.

You'll love it.
