whoo-hoo! or should i say 'wah-hoo':

Wahooshadow.jpg

Wahoo - Acauthocybium solanderi

Family Scombridae, MACKERELS AND TUNAS

Description: Body slender; elongate jaws form a pointed beak; dark bluish above, with about 30 dark wavy bars; whitish below 1st dorsal fin long and low, with 21 to 27 spines; no gill rakers

Where found: Offshore Gulfstream; bluewater

Size: To 2.1 m (83 in.) and 83 kg (183 lbs.).

Florida record: 136 lbs.

counterclockwise (west bay, canal, destin pass, pcb pass, west bay), deep gulf trolling with skipjacks and whatever else we catch on the way 25 miles out

now where did i put that money i just stashed for next month!

look out as usual if you're on the road, the fish swims south (as opposed to otters flying) at 1 am thursday morning, and fishes are all about speed not braking ability

:clap_1: Thank god! The wedding is Sunday and it said 60% rain. I feel like I've been holed up in the city long enough that the big man owed me some good weather.

I'm glad to see there's going to be some sunshine somewhere, because we sure as heck haven't seen any in a while. :bang: Yesterday it was rainy, raw, and only 46 degrees...our heat's on and I've taken the flannel blanket from the closet again. I want my sunshine back!!!!

Ab...I think you have coined a new SoWal phrase....Wah Hoo!!! I don't like it, I love it! :clap_1:

I Hear Ya. I'm losing my mind. But since it was such an icky day, we went to the new Bass Pro Shop across the river in bee-yoo-tiful Southern Indiana (;-) ). I've never been to one of these stores before. It was so HUGE, I was overwhelmed.

It better be sunny next weekend!!!!

Yes I definitely noticed - it's been gloomy, cold and rainy here for several days now! The meteorologist on the news last night even remarked that the swirling motion reminded him of a hurricane. Looks like the weather pattern is going to continue for several more days.

Beautiful day here in NYC! ;-) Though we were supposed to have rain all weekend.

AB...sounds like you are going to have some much needed and deserved, excellent, weather next week.

Have a WAH-HOO good time! :clap_1: :clap_1:
