I believe that they are betting on voters not being seriously engaged in the election process. I hope it backfires on them as they continue to be completely disconnected and disrespectful of we the people aka the voters aka Americans. This new party of trump that desantis wants for himself believe that Democratic Voters are inferior human beings and lazy and want socialism over capitalism. Every trump supporter in this forum believe that! All I can say is they will find out the hard way those beliefs are wrong. Economic and social fariness is a good purpose. Progressive policy making means that we have to be aware of our mistakes and learn from them. Our planet needs our help and that is a good purpose. Countries who have leaders that want power at the expense of people will need American Leaders who show respect for Democratic Principles not abuse them. We have an election system that works but one political party is abusing power to weaken it and one political party is trying to represent all voters. I hope and believe that the voters will get control of their fears and do the right thing...

It's simply another form of voter suppression in the name of voter fraud which isn't a thing. During the 2020 presidential election campaign, TFG repeated over and over NOT to vote by mail, suppressing his own voters no doubt. I'm just glad Florida hasn't done away with mail in voting like some other states, due to this mindset to limit voting opportunity (while also limiting polling places). Walton County Elections office does a good job of keeping us informed as to what we must do to vote. Thankful for that. Be sure to spread the word to friends and neighbors.
