Donald J. Trump

Inconceivable that the government would break into a lawyer’s office (early in the morning) - almost unheard of. Even more inconceivable that a lawyer would tape a client - totally unheard of & perhaps illegal. The good news is that your favorite President did nothing wrong!

7:10 AM - Jul 21, 2018

Finally a true statement! Yes, we know Obama did nothing wrong. Eight years of investigations with zero scandals and zero indictments.
Correction, he did wear a tan suit and spread dijon mustard on his burger.

Poppa, I appreciate the dialogue with you. Respect.

As you know, the FBI is under the DOJ which is under the Executive Branch. The FBI is not "independent". The President can shut down the investigation before sundown and he doesn't even have to give a reason. He can fire AG Sessions as well. He did fire Comey and with ZERO blowback (to make the point). Obviously, the spineless Republican wimps (mainly in the Senate) would join in the with Chuckie et al. howling for Trump's impeachment. From what I have heard is that Trump has chosen to let the Mueller deal play out because he doesn't just want to say he did not rig the election, he wants Meuller to eventually have to admit that there is nothing there.

The big questions are where's Sessions? What's he doing? Is he just taking long lunches, going after people who smoke weed? Or is he putting together cases that would make Hillary's (alleged) famous quote, "if that bastard wins we all swing from nooses" come (figuratively) true? Time will tell.
Non answer. Why is he and Republicans so desparate to discredit Mueller, the DOJ, FBI, and any other federal agency that could expose Trump's misdeeds if he is innocent?

Here are a few quote from Republicans expressing their confidence in Mueller's honesty and integrity after he was appointed in May of 2017. Any idea what has changed in the past sixteen months?
House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah — who announced Tuesday that he was demanding from the FBI copies of memos written by former FBI director James Comey summarizing his conversations with President Trump — tweeted Wednesday that "Mueller is a great selection. Impeccable credentials. Should be widely accepted."
I commend (Department of Justice) for bringing in an independent voice to help bring clarity to this situation," said Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, a senior member of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., said, "My priority has been to ensure thorough and independent investigations are allowed to follow the facts wherever they may lead. That is what we’ve been doing here in the House. The addition of Robert Mueller as special counsel is consistent with this goal, and I welcome his role at the Department of Justice.
Rep Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., called Mueller " a well respected and trusted veteran of the FBI" and said "this special counsel appointment is a step in the right direction on getting answers on the many questions we have with Russian meddling in our election and our democracy."
Republican Sen. Rob Portman of Ohio tweeted: "The issue of Russian meddling in our election must be investigated fully & former FBI dir. Mueller is well qualified to oversee this probe."
On Wednesday, McConnell said "The decision by the Deputy Attorney General to appoint former FBI Director Robert Mueller as a special counsel confirms that the investigation into Russian intervention into our election will continue, as stated last week by Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe. The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence will also continue its investigation into this matter."
ntelligence Chairman Richard Burr, R-N.C., and Vice Chairman Mark Warner, D-Va., issued a joint statement echoing McConnell's commitment to the committee's investigation. Mueller's selection "will provide some certainty for the American people that the investigation will proceed fairly and free of political influence,“ they wrote. The committee "will continue its own investigation and to the extent any deconfliction is required, we will engage with Director Mueller and our expectation is that he will engage with the Committee as well.”

Apparently so. Purging political enemies is what Drumpf is all about. Even though no president in modern times has stooped so low.

There is nothing too low that Putin's Petty Pussygrabber won't do and Trumpanzees won't defend. Republican politicians will hide in their offices and hope no one will ask them for an opinion and Fox State TV will spin it as a bold and decisive move by a strong leader. Trump will blame Obama, Hillary's e-mails and a rigged witch hunt while reminding everyone he won the election with the biggest who knows what ever in all caps. Just the beginning of another week with the biggest dumbsh*t president ever.

Trumpism - Do something so amazingly stupid every week in hopes that the American public will forget about the insane s**t you did the week before. Then make threats, belittle your own people, lay blame, walk it back, then ALL CAP THAT s**t ON TWITTER and it will all be true.
