I am really not sure if all human males fit neatly into categories of hierarchy because we have such a complex Central Nervous System with unique abilities. But I do believe that ego can make males mentally weak because they or I should say we become predictable and the food chain will eat us up :) Thank goodness that those of us who are aware of this weakness will learn how to recognize it and at least give some effort to manage it. Unfortunately many will continue to justify the behavior and some will even find success despite the flaws. I believe that there is a spiritual reckoning that all of us will face eventually.
The men I know and admire don't fit into any hierarchy and have many and various human characteristics and few weaknesses that matter. They don't think in terms of alpha or beta or anything so meaningless. They are spiritual in many different ways. Confident in their lives without having to compare themselves to others, or degrade other humans based on fake macho standards. They may not be perfect but they are good humans.

Think there was a discussion about Paycheck Protection Program the other day.

I started another thread about it. Ironically if he had just been a good broker/realtor this past two years he'd have cleared well over that.

Thank you Governor Desantis. I'm now paying just over $4200 for home insurance. That's a 16% increase over last year's 200% increase.

Maybe we could focus on something affecting literally every Floridian?

Biden/Harris 2024! I'm more motivated than ever.

Farmers Insurance said Tuesday that it will no longer offer coverage in Florida, ending home, auto and others policies in the state in a move that will affect tens of thousands of residents.

Farmers becomes the fourth major insurer to pull out of Florida in the past year, as the state's insurance market looks increasingly precarious amid a growing threat from extreme weather.
