Great, so you agree this has no place in Florida’s education system?

PragerU is not an accredited university, and it publicly says the group is a “force of good” against the left. It’s a nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles that produces videos that touch on a range of themes, including climate policies (specifically how “energy poverty, not climate change” is the real crisis), the flaws of Canada’s government-run health care system (and how the American privatized system is better), and broad support for law enforcement (and rejection of Black Lives Matter). In some cases, the videos tell kids that their teachers are “misinformed” or “lying.”

Some videos talk about the history of race relations and slavery. In one video, two kids travel back in time to meet Christopher Columbus, who tells them that he should not be judged for enslaving people because the practice was “no big deal” in his time. Columbus argued to the kids that he did not see a problem with it because “being taken as a slave is better than being killed.”
I wouldn't say I agree, I just want kids to be taught real history but that is a tall order

I have see a lot of Prager videos and I agree with most

As far as climate change I take the Einstein approach that if you cannot explain something simply you do not understand it yourself. I have tried to educate myself on climate change but I just can't take the leap that it requires. We can go into it if you would like.

As far as heath care I would simply state that you never hear of an American going to Canada for care but Canadians with money will often come to the US for the best care available

Personally I stand with our police and denounce the BLM movement that seeks to divide Americans.

I think a lot of teachers push their own agenda from both sides of the isle

During Columbus's time slavery was common. Lets not forget America didn't start slavery but we did fight a war with ourselves to bring our slavery to an end. As far as a fake Columbus talking about the lives of slaves thats just silly

I think the question is on someone to prove that anything was "provided" except for the "illusion of access". None the less I am okay either way if Hunter goes to prison or not. I don't really care if trump goes to jail even though he should. I just do not want either of them representing me. You do realize the trumps have a political pac that has paid over 30 million dollars for legal fees so far. Do you think the people who pay millions into that slush fund do not expect "access", illusion or otherwise?
You know better then most that eventually the lawyers are going to find the smoking gun. You are also smart enough to know that Hunter isn't the top of the food chain for this nonsense its just a matter of will you let yourself admit it. Trumps legal fees have nothing to do with bidens influence fees. Lets worry about trump when trump needs to be worried about

They teach slavery is a fact, but then they added it’s better to be a slave than being killed. And back in the day it wasn’t a big deal. So facts can be taught. However, when presented with attitudes and opinions it can become muddled.
Who is teaching this? I've heard the talking points but have never got an answer. For some people being a slave would be better then dying for others they may choose the opposite so this seems reasonable to me but I don't know who is teaching it in a classroom. Back in the day slavery was common place, is that even up for debate?

History is there for us to learn from
My great grand parents generation used to put whiskey on a teething babies gums, that seems ridiculous today but it was normal back then. They didn't hate the babies it is just what they did

Or believe it’s true.
My wife and I moved to Miramar Beach in 2007/2008. Since we have been gone our best friend and his wife were sadly left dealing with the wife’s dementia.
When we visited she would say things that are untrue about family, places, memories etc. and we would try and correct her believing we were helping.
We quickly learned this was the wrong approach because she would become very angry when corrected insisting she was right. We realized this was her reality and there was no hope of her ever returning to normal so we just started to politely listen and nod as this calmed her.
We no longer visit because over the last sixteen years she has forgotten who we are.
This is similar to how I view MAGAs. They are also hopeless and the only difference is we will all suffer for their self imposed alternate reality.
It’s as if we are living on the bizzaro planet of Htrae from the Superman comics.
As long as you realize the right feels the same way you do
We think your side is insane
