I wouldn't say I agree, I just want kids to be taught real history but that is a tall order

As far as climate change I take the Einstein approach that if you cannot explain something simply you do not understand it yourself. I have tried to educate myself on climate change but I just can't take the leap that it requires. We can go into it if you would like.

As far as heath care I would simply state that you never hear of an American going to Canada for care but Canadians with money will often come to the US for the best care available

Personally I stand with our police and denounce the BLM movement that seeks to divide Americans.

I think a lot of teachers push their own agenda from both sides of the isle

During Columbus's time slavery was common. Lets not forget America didn't start slavery but we did fight a war with ourselves to bring our slavery to an end. As far as a fake Columbus talking about the lives of slaves thats just silly

Americans don’t go to Canada because they don’t qualify. All Canadians are covered and the care is equal for all, but those with money can seek private care in Canada or anywhere.
I noticed you have no concern for the hundreds of thousands of Americans who seek treatment abroad because they can not afford care in this country.

You denounce BLM but not MAGA or its leader. Not the Proud Boys. Not the three percenters. Not the Oath Keepers. Not any of the right wing hate groups.

I was a subpar student that got good grades for being an athlete
Got 2 college degrees without ever reading a book or writing a paper (thats how we did it back in the 90's)
Started my 1st company as a framing contractor without knowing how to frame houses
Spent every spare moment in the library reading every book I could get my hands on
Then taught myself millwork through the same process
Then general contracting, then spec building, then investing
So yeah I can learn anything I put my mind to
Can't you?

The climate has been changing since the beginning of the earth
The left started with global cooling
Then it was fossil fuels
Then it was global warming
Then it was nuclear war
Then it was sea level changes
Now at least someone got smart enough to say its climate change that way all of the bases are covered

What time period do you want to look at for climate change?
You need to define a starting point so that stats can be measured

I know one thing my family has owned property on the water for all 50 of my years and the water is still at the exact same level as far back as I can remember

Americans with health issues can move to Canada if they so choose

As far as slavery its easy to be the quarterback on Monday. For you to say they knew it was wrong is a silly statement because how could you know this? I stated that America didn't start slavery because American slavery is all that you hear about on the subject. No one cares that there are more slaves now then ever before. No one cares that black people owned slaves. No one cares that Africans sold Africans to white people because all of these facts, and many more, run counter to the narrative.

Your last 2 sentences are silly because we did start a war with ourselves to end slavery in America. Is this even in question? Didn't it take good men to stop bad men from being bad?

Who is teaching this? I've heard the talking points but have never got an answer. For some people being a slave would be better then dying for others they may choose the opposite so this seems reasonable to me but I don't know who is teaching it in a classroom. Back in the day slavery was common place, is that even up for debate?

History is there for us to learn from
My great grand parents generation used to put whiskey on a teething babies gums, that seems ridiculous today but it was normal back then. They didn't hate the babies it is just what they did

Do you like being a hypocrite? Do you like having such power that you can judge what is best for another human being? Can you read and comprehend what these changes in the methods of educating our children will have on society? History is the truth of our past not some narrative that benefits one group of society and hurts another group. Educators must be able to teach the truth and the truth is that America has made mistakes and the correction of those mistakes is a human purpose. Your purpose is to support a platform of mistakes or flat out lies and then try to justify them. I believe most educators have a conscience that will be in conflict with the bad spirit of false narratives and they will continue to leave Florida. Your "side" is beyond insane and you are too far gone for anyone to help you find a better purpose for your life...
