Oh my gosh. A new Abercrombie just opened on 5th ave. I swear to god- they only hired models. That's it. We walked in there when it first opened and our jaws dragged the floor. I'm telling you...these guys- and girls- were STRAIGHT out of the ad campaign. Whenever I'm uptown in the area, I walk in just to look. It's insane. 100% out of control.

Exactly the same at Lenox in the ATL! All of the salespeople are models and they don't know (or give a damn about) the merchandise. But they look good!

Because I am so picky about where I want to work, I have temporarily rejoined my old cast of friends at Abercrombie & Fitch as an assistant manager. They know that I am going to be leaving in the summer to move off wherever I will be going to law school, so it works out quite nicely. Because you almost have to have a B.A./B.S. or be in college to work there, most everyone there is in the same situation that I am in--med, law, grad school deferments. Now if I can only get them to let me transfer to the Destin Commons store?

I think that's cool how y'all wear flip flops. Especially here when it's so dang cold. There are only 2 here in the city...the other is way way downtown. The 5th Ave store is gorgeous though. I actually did some work with the agency that does pr for A&F...we're doing an event with them for Puffy in a couple weeks.

Oh, I didn't realize Hollister was A&F, but it makes total sense now that you say that. I wish they handed out flashlights in that store when you walk in.

Well no actually. However, after I was told that I could not live in my grandma's condo at the Seamist complex, I had to switch gears and find a job. If it is a paid position I would move tomorrow, but I would need to be compensated to at least live in Freeport or something.

I am totally confused about what I want to do with my time and now because I have gone back to my college job, my parents are pissed. I have also turned down internships and jobs with Morgan Stanley, where my dad works.

Tell you what...I will go ahead an email them tomorrow and find out when a good time to call would be.

I am very appreciative of your work and efforts SJ, and lucky to know that there is someone in SOWAL like you.
