Well....... Today Is My Last Day Working For "The Man"

New posts
Whatcha doing on your first day of freedom?

Well...... as usual lots of things happening here in the Nooga on the weekend. Gonna be a "Chamber Of Commerce Day" here. Weather is perfect. May go out on the boat and head down river to downtown where they are having Wine Over Water. Probably sold out but fun to watch. Could always dock at the pier and take in all that DT Nooga has to offer. Gotta go run or bike or something to clear the head.

Check out this link: http://www.wineoverwater.org/ <--- has Jdarg written all over it

 Thank you all for the kind words of encouragement. Yes, this was planned. I have been in the same career for 20+ years. I am ready for something new. I have nothing bad to say about my previous employer. In fact if it weren't for them I wouldn't be able to take this leap. I will give out more details as things pan out.
This is starting to feel like the Kimmi haircut pics thread.

Best of luck to you in your new adventure! Having been self employed for most of my life......I will post the the plaque that hung in my office for years:

"Self-employment, the most overrated thing since natural childbirth"

It is very difficult at time....but I can't imagine anything more rewarding than working for yourself. Be prepared to wear a lot of hats. I know you have what it takes RO! DO IT!

These are for you RO baby!
