Boxers love babies

I actually think Boxers love anything. I have never met one that I did not love. I think that will be my next dog. I will find one at a Boxer rescue organization. I would love that!!!!

Hamburger's will do it every time. Our boxer, Mack, is getting a little grey on the muzzle, too. He'll be 6 in February.

I have a friend that breeds boxers, I think she's got six or eight of her own. They're all just like a bunch of kids and they have really funny names, like Floyd Henley! :floor: He's named after a man we know. When one of the mother's is getting close to having pups, my friend sleeps on a cot in the room with her. It's pitiful how much those dogs are spoiled! Ok, maybe my baby is too!

Yes, I understand the reasons for the cross breeding. I like labradoodles and would like to own one. I just think it is ironic that breeders want $2,000 for a puppy that, 10 years ago, would have been considered a mutt and probably found free in the newspaper.

I think $2000 for a dog is a bit much too- pure bred, cross bred, or otherwise!

Which is why I decided not to get one  .

Me neither! And I really decided against it when a local hotsy totsy waltzed into the clinic with her 2 Labradoodles- straight off the plane from Australia. You could tell someone told her they were the "it" dog and cost a fortune. And for this type of gal, that is all you had to say- she got on the computer and bought 2! I can just hear her now whining to her husband- "I want a Labradoodle and I WANT ONE NOW!!!" She kinda ruined it for me.

That sounds like Veruka Salt from Willy Wonka!!!!

$2,000 for a dog?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!  Oh my gosh! I always thought animals were a luxury but that proves it!

I love Corgies. They never bark.

Not unless they want to chase that squirrel in the back yard, or have taken on the job of being the "doorbell"! I think it's all in the training. :rolling:

But they are very trainable. They are smart and quick learners.
