We're running out of Chocolate

New posts
I guess I will need to dig up those old Friends episodes and steal mochlate recipes, or is this going to be the next big bubble with cocoaters spouting "now is a good time to buy"?

Check out Endangered Species Chocolate. They're committed to promoting sustainability in cacao farming communities on the Ivory Coast and Ecuador, and their cacao is ethically traded. Their chocolate is wonderful. There may be other companies doing this also.

Since cocoa beans were used as money by the ancient mayans, as we approach 2012 and the end of their calendar system, I think it only appropriate we come full circle with the value of this commodity! ;)

I love these. Used to get them when the health food store next door carried them. Yummy!

Well now, this headline got my attention. I don't care what the real thing costs, it is a staple at MaisonvLynnie and always will be.

Can one grow cocoa beans and grapes on the same land? Hmmmm. . . . .
