We were able to get down for Thanksgiving, enjoyed the ride and drive, the weather was 70's when we got there, ate at Red Bar that night, Fire for Thanksgiving (and what a fine treat that was!), sandwiches that night, Dusty's for oysters next day and a visit to Ripley's Believe It or Not! in PCB (the 9 year old asked politely for the one hundred and forty-third time), La Botana that night for another terrific small plate orgy with entertainment and wine, then Shorty's our last night and another treat. All restaurants were busy and the food excellent as usual, crowds sparse but around, and the Rosemary Holiday sidewalk sale was fun. We wish we could stay each time and have fallen deeply in love with our beach house (wish it were bigger) and Inlet Beach and we have intensified our love for 30A.
All was well and safe. The drive home to memphis took 7:25 minutes - a new record. The highways were not crowded on Sunday and traffic was MOVING!!!!!!! Live long and prosper.
